Double column type with small print. Offsetting to endpapers, dustiness to boards and minor corner rubbing, a scuff or two, but very solid and decent overall

Sound tight decent green cloth hardcover, 9th ptg of 1951 version of 1908 original. 12 Rackham plates in colour on glossy stock in good order. pages 103-106 effectively missed the stitching at the bindery so are laid-in, with no thread holes evident at the hinge. As a result, the edges have become a little freckled with a short edge nick, but they sit flush with the fore-edge OK. We will tip-in before sending if requested to do so. Some even sunfade to spine, strips of sunfade to board edges 1-1/2 to 2-1/2 inches wide on front panel, no fade to rear panel. No wear to speak of, the odd freckle or two. Christmas gift inscription on fly.
