Author: Georgette Heyer
Title: Powder and Patch
Description: Book is Very Good in Fair dust jacket. Cloth binding, William Heinemann, London, 1951. Uniform edition of 1923 original. The 233 pages are very clean, though a little yellowed, the paper is not up to Heinemann's usual standard for the time. The orange cloth covers are not perfectly clean, but reasonable. Owner inscription on fly. The wrapper is complete, having been properly patched from behind to re-inforce the spine ends and corners and some tears. PVA glue and matching paper have been used - no magic tape. It was fairly badly torn and chipped to start with, and I'm afraid its no looker even now, but you do get the picture and blurb, its un-priceclipped, and there are no flappy bits! Size 12mo keywords: historical romance
