The Dean
Description:
Book is Near Fine in Very Good dust jacket. Hard Cover binding, First Edition,
Hodder & Stoughton, London, 1957. The binding of this book is sound and tight. The 190 pages are clean and free of age-darkening, rips, folds, or annotations. Occasional light foxing appears on the fore-edge, but does not affect the page faces. The red boards are clean and straight. The gilt lettering is clear and reasonably bright. There is a hint of shelf rubbing on the corners, but no wear. The dust jacket has a bit of age darkening, and has some foxing spots on the inside. It is free of sun-fade though, and retains nice colour saturation. The front panel displays admirably. Dust jacket is free of rips, chips, nicks or creases. Overall a handsome and pleasing book. Free of previous owner markings.
