John Murray, 1864. 1864 John Murray 1st edition, rebound in tough maroon buckram library style binding, though no dewey marks or such. 3 fold-out charts at end and two in middle, look to be all there, the charts are a bit creased and worn, but the last has been expertly repaired by some paper lamination process which it is beyond my extensive experience to identify. The chart is large and was very torn up along many seams but now looks darn good, very natural paper appearance. One loose signature in middle, some brittle chips at page edges towards rear, but overall very tight and free of major problems. This is a tough working copy.
